This is a Sanskrit word and is pronounced Seth chith anunda by Deepak Chopra. He introduced the word as a mantra in his 21-day meditation challenge. It means being (or existence), consciousness, bliss. I pray everyday that we all will make the shift from merely being or existing to realizing that what we think, say, and do effects everyone else through direct interaction and the mass consciousness. The moment we believe in our influence on the world and universe is the moment we can choose to begin our journey on the road toward bliss. Bliss is in the opposite direction from loneliness and low self-worth. I am blissful when I feel I am never alone; that whatever I think, say or do influences those around me and, in turn, ripples out from them to all whom they touch. I am blissful when I reflect the love I feel for others back to them so they may one day believe they have in them the divine essence of the Source they came from and will return to. Love and peace, Deb B.
